INSITUTE Project
Synopsis
This story takes places in the year 2551. The increase in population on earth has led to a lack of resources. The world has seen an increase in the number of crimes and acts of terrorism. Some states have therefore multiplied the number of surveillance camera systems with facial recognition. Others have developed killer drones that fly over the countries where terrorists originate and kill targets. Populations are divided: the poor, the wanted and the at-risk have clustered away from city centers.

Huge Prize, president of Nash Corp, is part of a club of wealthy and influential people who want to officially divide the world into rich and poor. He undertakes to combine the two technologies: cameras and drones. He creates drones connected to surveillance camera systems with facial recognition that autonomously fly over the streets and shoot down people guilty of crime, wanted, or of very high risk. Except that after Huge's rise to power, the system has changed a lot and some people are being shot for no real reason. Jilla Papadis, Huge's greatest opponent, is murdered by one of these drones while she sleeps. Following this tragic event, a large militia is formed with the objective of bringing down Nash Corp and more particularly the president Huge Prize. At the head of this militia is Eyleen Papadis.

Note of intent
The UN predicts that by 2100 there will be more than 10 billion people on earth. Pollution, global warming, melting ice and many other natural disasters are leading us to a progressive reduction of the earth's resources. The improvement of knowledge on artificial intelligence drastically increases the use of devices with this technology today.

We have three topics that are at the center of international debates today. So everyone is concerned. Overpopulation, global warming and artificial intelligence. "Project INSITUTE" addresses these three issues and takes us into what life might be like in 2551 if nothing is done today.

Huge Prize is a member of an elite club and feels that he does not have to mix with the rest of the population, which he considers dangerous and disease-carrying. He and his friends all live in private, gated, secure neighborhoods that contain all the necessities for a comfortable life: workplaces, supermarkets, golf courses, etc. They are often stormed by the general public, hungry outside gangs in need of everything. The day his son was shot, Huge Prize launched Nash Corp's Insitute project. His stated goal is to reduce crime, but the one that shines through is to lower the general population by preying on the poorest of the poor, whom he considers to be garbage.

"Project INSITUTE" has all the makings of a bestseller, the topics covered are poignant, well blended and representative of our current society. We are all concerned.
